History

CPU was founded in 1981 by two of our owners, namely Lærerstandens Brandforsikring G/S and GF-Forsikring A/S. A couple of years later Forsikrings-Aktieselskabet Trekroner A/S and Danske Grundejeres Brandforsikring joined as owners.

The concept behind CPU is that CPU develops and maintains a complete on-line, realtime based system for insurance administration, while the companies are in charge of their everyday operations. We in CPU develop on and maintain our own AS/400 system and the companies use their own AS/400 system for the everyday operations.

CPU started in the early eighties employing 5 system developers. Today CPU employs 17.
